Dramatic Frogs
Trovo che “Dramatic Frogs” sia un titolo molto esplicativo. Il dramma, ovviamente, sono i lati oscuri, le “rane” quelli giocosi, fantasiosi.
Classica unione tragedia/commedia - il grottesco, la satira, la burla – in un linguaggio però nuovo, un inglese contaminato dallo slang, dal parlato, da esterofilie di ogni tipo – senza che la lettura diventi pedante.
Il testo scorre. Le foto, accostate ad ogni pagina, aiutano l’immaginario. Un’esperienza per certi versi inedita, che vale senza dubbio almeno una lettura.

There’s the drama – (all your most miserable thoughts) – and the frogs (the comedy/burlesque/satire..) all tied in one place.
I just can say I enjoyed reading it – and it’s been a while.
Both painful and funny at the same time: give it a chance, if you’re ready for such a ride.
